Do you have any questions?
How do I create my managed portfolio?
To create the portfolio, go to the Investments section of the app and open an account. Complete a brief questionnaire to find out what your risk tolerance is and we’ll assign you the portfolio that best meets your profile. You’ll have your Myandbank portfolio as soon as you sign the contract. To send money and start investing, you can make a transfer from your Myandbank account or from any other bank.
What do the portfolios invest in?
The portfolios invest in index funds from the international managers Vanguard and iShares.
What do the portfolios invest in?
The portfolios invest in index funds from international managers Vanguard and iShares.
Who manages the index fund portfolios?
Myandbank portfolios are a discretionary portfolio management service provided by Andbank.
What types of portfolio are there?
There are six types of portfolios, one for each risk profile: Beginners, very low risk; Green Slope, low risk; Blue Slope, medium-low risk; Red Slope, medium-high risk; Black Slope: high risk and Off-Piste, very high risk.
How do I select my portfolio?
You can select your portfolio according to your investor profile, which is what determines your needs and goals, which may be more conservative or risky. For example, if in the questionnaire we award you the Black Slope Portfolio, you could take out any of our portfolios, since the Black Slope option is the riskiest. However, if your questionnaire showed you Red Slope, you could take out the Green Slope and the Blue Slope, but you could not invest in the Black Slope portfolio, as this would mean assuming a greater risk than what your questionnaire determined.
How is the investor profile calculated?
To open your portfolio, you have to take a short online questionnaire to find out your risk profile. We’ll assign you the right portfolio for your needs. You can repeat the questionnaire as many times as you want.
How do I make my contributions?
It’s very simple. You can schedule one-off or regular transfers directly from your Myandbank account – or from any bank – to your managed portfolio. They immediately become contributions. The transferred money arrives on the same day if it comes from Myandbank and takes one to three business days if it comes from another bank.
What is the minimum investment amount?
The minimum investment amount to open the portfolio is €150. You can also make one-time or periodic contributions without a minimum amount. Keep in mind, however, that if they are less than €150, the money will accumulate until this figure is reached. At that point, it will be invested. If your contribution is equal to or greater than €150, it will be invested automatically, except for a small portion that we keep in cash.
How often can I make regular contributions?
Whenever you want. You can choose the frequency – monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, six-monthly and annually – of your transfers/contributions and the amount you want to invest.
When is my money invested?
| When the cash reaches €150, it will be invested automatically without you having to do a thing. We’ll raise the purchase orders for the funds within three business days from the time the money arrives. You’ll see your investment made in a maximum of eight business days. |
Is 100% of my investment allocated to purchasing funds in managed portfolios?
No. 99.5% is invested. 0.5% of your investment is held in cash. This percentage is lower than the amount most banks hold in cash – generally 1% – when providing this type of service. By default, we hold a small portion of your investment in cash – around 0.5% of the portfolio value – to cover future custody and management fees that are charged quarterly. There is then no need to refund funds to collect fees.
Can I have multiple portfolios at the same time?
Yes, it is possible to open more than one portfolio per customer.
What fees are charged?
The automated portfolio service involves a management fee of 0.30% and an annual custody fee of 0.20% (IGI [General Indirect Tax] included). Payment is made quarterly to the cash account linked to the index fund portfolio.
What are the tax implications of portfolios?
The capital gain generated in the purchase and sale of investment funds has no tax impact on individuals under current Andorran regulations.
What is the liquidity of the portfolios?
Daily, just like the funds in which they invest.
How can I cancel my portfolio?
You can cancel your portfolio at any time from the app. The cancellation process takes one to eight business days.
Where can I find the selection of the more than 500 funds?
The more than 500 actively managed and indexed funds are available in the Myandbank app. In the Investments section, click the Search funds button and you’ll find the full range of funds. Subscription/refund process for investment fund shares
What is the cut-off time?
The cut-off time is the daily time limit for a subscription order to be processed with a value date of the same business day.
Standard cut-off time: [Example: 1.00 p.m.]
How will orders received before the cut-off time be processed?
Orders received before the cut-off time will be processed with a contract date and settlement value of the same business day.
How will orders received after the cut-off time be processed?
Orders received after the cut-off time will be considered received on the next business day and will be processed with a contract date and settlement value of the next business day.
What is the contract date?
The date on which the customer’s subscription request is considered officially submitted.
If you place the order before the cut-off time, the contract date will be the same day.
If the order is placed after the cut-off time, the contract date will be the next business day.
What is the value date?
The value date is the date on which the investment is effectively executed and the shares are assigned to the customer, at the corresponding settlement value.
This date corresponds to the contract date plus the settlement days indicated in the fund (in most funds it is 2 or 3 days).
The subscription is executed at the fund’s settlement value corresponding to the contract date.
How is the settlement value calculated?
The settlement value is usually calculated at market close and published the next business day.
Practical examples
In a fund where the cut-off time is 1 p.m.:
Customer A makes a subscription on Monday at 11:30 am → • Contract date: Monday
• Value date: generally corresponds to the contract date + 2 or 3 days.
• Settlement value applied: Monday’s
Customer B makes a subscription on Monday at 2.15 p.m. → Contract date: Tuesday.
• Value date: generally corresponds to the contract date + 2 or 3 days.
• Settlement value applied: Tuesday’s
What is the notice period?
Some funds may require a notice period before settlement. This means that, for certain funds, it is necessary to notify in advance the intention to subscribe or settle the investment.
Practical examples assuming the fund has one day’s notice:
Customer A makes a subscription on Monday at 11:30 am → • Contract date: Tuesday
• Value date: generally corresponds to the contract date + 2 or 3 days.
• Settlement value applied: Tuesday’s
Customer B makes a subscription on Monday at 2.15 p.m. → • Contract date: Wednesday
• Value date: generally corresponds to the contract date + 2 or 3 days.
• Settlement value applied: Wednesday’s
What is the frequency of fund settlement?
It is important to note that not all funds have daily settlement. Some funds settle daily and allow trading every business day.
Other funds may have a weekly, fortnightly or monthly settlement frequency and, therefore, subscription (and redemption) orders are processed according to this periodicity.
When can a fund be sold after settlement?
Investment funds cannot be sold until the day after the value date on which the subscription was settled.
